Trying to work on not only the Kingdom of Avalon info for Convergence, but doing other rp stuff and taking care of two tags makes me really wish I had another set of arms and another keyboard. My mind needs to stop splitting its thoughts to such degrees.
Also, tonight I should be cross-posting all of the previous convergence info into the actual OOC comm and work from there with included questions and suggestions. Stay tuned later tonight! |

| First ever workshop post! |

Alright, Like a few of you have already known from my personal ramblings, I've been pondering on building a RP community and a whole new setting. After a month of silence on my part and little to show for my effort, I bring you the first ever Workshop post for Convergence!
This feature will always be a part of the OOC coomunity to communicate with both the mod's ideas on the ever growing fluff of the Convergence world and the appeal of the multitude of players that join.
Every Workshop post will consist of the BETA info that they're about to release on a new bit of fluff or World info and from there, the players can give their opinion on what they like or don't like about the info, what do they think could be different or fails to grasp their sense of disbelief. Mods still have the final say, but you probably aren't going to see that too much.
Anyway, with almost no info out on the game and the comm still just barely even created, (I got the comm names, it should count for something.) the first Workshop post will be in here in my personal LJ.
And what do I bring?
I bring you both the premise and first back-history of the setting. the back-history was written by me, but Guin (![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) theguindo) was an awesome dude and revised it to give it a more myth look to it. Guin was also gracious enough to make a better premise for me, so..yeah. >_> I guess I'm just having a fail of a writing week

| Even Pandas get a good idea once and a while |

I've noticed that as time has passed, I've been growing more and more fond of writing. I've tried drawing and 3D graphics, but it just doesn't sit as well for me as writing does. I love storytelling and occasionally giving a detailed message amongst the plot. Like all talents and arts though, this requires me keep on practicing and go beyond just written role-plays. With Christmas coming up and me being particularly (see: Very) poor, I think I have a neat idea for presents!
Christmas Drabble
If anyone on my friend's list like a a Christmas card, not only will I send a Christmas card, but a small 1-2 page drabble/short story. :3 Just put your name, Address and a simple prompt of one or two words and I'll get to work on it right away. I won't do any fandom related prompts, (mostly because I don't want to fail miserably from not knowing it) so any other prompts will be good. All comments will be screened and if you have any questions, I'll be sure to answer them. ^^ |

Oh jesus. I come here to study because Libraries tend to be pretty nice areas to do that.
However, I do not need to know about your bladder issues and how much you'd really like to have that cleared up.
I also don't think everybody else would want to know either.
What happened to shutting your trap when in such a place? =|
EDIT: No, I'm sorry. I can't forgive you for hearing about your other issues. I don't care if you have social anxiety disorder. Just get out from the Library and have your chat outside or something. Not in a fucking library, argh. |

Dear brother's girlfriend,
When you live in a small apartment with your boyfriend's family and there's only one bathroom and one crappy water heater, what makes you think that its okay to take an hour and a half long shower? I'm a pretty fair guy who'd like to think he gives some leniency to women on occasion, but that gives you no right to eliminate any hot water for anyone else for the next three hours because you're special to my brother.
Look, truth be told, I wouldn't be as a frustrated if I didn't already feel incredibly rank and then get pushed away from the bathroom because you and my brother debated on which of you were going to shower first. =|

As the few of you all know, My luck isn't that stellar. In fact, my luck is the kind of luck that when it rains, it pours. It being the first day of school, I had already figured that luck will give me a late bus or super early bus and that I wasn't going to leave at my normal time. So, instead of leaving at my usual 7:55 bus, I decided to wait a few more minutes to get my bearing and get to the bus stop 40 minutes early for the 8:45am bus.
Surprisingly, the bus actually arrived on time!
...and then passed me all together.
Uh, No problem I guess. Circumstances will have it I wasn't entirely in a rush and since I'm wearing a backpack while pacing, maybe the driver thought I was some High schooler Going/ditching class. So, I wait for the next bus to arrive in another 35 mins, taking off my backpack and sitting on the bus stop bench while I wait.
Low and behold, another bus shows up 10 minutes early!
...and passes me again. >_>
10 minutes after that, another bus...which also passes me. /)_.
It even stops for the NEXT bus stop a quarter mile a way. >_<
By now, I'm already getting a headache of the situation and figure that maybe they just don't service this stop anymore. The website says it does and the sign says it still does but whatever.
I start walking to that bus stop, figuring that since they're stopping for that stop in the distance, I might as well not be choosy and sit over there.
Except just as I was halfway, two more buses pass by, one of them actually nearly stopped at the stop I was just at, but some no one there and didn't even bother with the second one.
That means in a the space of 2 hours waiting for a bus in southern Elk Grove, I had 5 buses ignore me on my first day of school. =|
I don't even know why I bother sometimes. |

I always start to wonder when everybody gets this quiet. Am I still giving off some kind of creeper factor? Am I just too pessimistic to be worth talking to? Maybe I come as too needy or maybe its all in my head. I really don't know.
Maybe I'm just down right unfriendly that when people try to talk to me, I always unknowingly push them away. I think my interests are too focused on specific things or I look to the wrong crowds for conversation.
Ah well, not like any of this would change anything. It's quiet again, has been for quite a while and reading helps keep the time go by. |

Panda and Panda's father go to Target, he gets:
Cheap but useable shoes: $30
Dry erase Markers: $3
1600 Microsoft point card $20
Master and commander DvD on sale: $3
Total: $56 + 11% tax = 62.16
Josh and Kate come over and see that Panda bought some stuff, they beg my dad to be taken to Best buy and get:
Red Faction Guerrilla: $60
Tales of Vesperia: $60
Sims 3: $50
Two WoW time cards: $60
Total: $230 + 11% tax = $255.30
I would cry outrage of spending so much money, but I'd only be told that it was a fair trade and I should leave my brother and his girlfriend alone.
HOW IS THIS EVEN CLOSE TO FAIR? WE CAN'T EVEN AFFORD THAT KIND OF SPENDING!
Oh and btw, all of those games Josh got? He claims them as his own, which means that he takes them with him when he goes over to my mothers and I don't see or play them. [Edit] This would make a lot more sense given that most of the games I have dad buy or even buy myself are always available for people to play with, even some of the rare and expensive ones. =| |

My week in a box.
My credit Card debt hasn't budged in a year. I suck at money habits.
In the part of California I'm in, there is 0% in available jobs. Way to go California government. Way to go Obama. It's good to see that you're fixing our economy by making it worse with your extra spending.
Yesterday I get a letter from CRC telling me that my college is about ready to throw me out. Last semester was below 2.0 gpa and they want make sure that their records look high. I have to beg the consular to let me stay or they almost literally throw me out of the school and not want me back. In addition to this, my $15k tuition debts are being held just by the fact that I'm actually going to school. If I get thrown out of college, I have to pay a debt I completely can not afford.
Today, the family's favored son and his girlfriend (Which the family have accepted her as part of the family in the mere 3 months she's been here) have decided to come over and eat/drink/use electricity of my poor dad's 2 room apartment until the foreseeable future. He's 19 and has extra responsibilities, forces my dad to spend money on his girlfriend all because he still believes my parents owe him for the spoiled life he had. (Which he claims was tragic and hard for him) Guess I'm stuck in my bedroom again and nearly forgotten for another 2 or 3 weeks.

Well, I've been in mostly an artistic and writing mood recently, specifically for the convergence RP idea I have and others.
Kinda what I've been meaning to ask everyone on my friends list with a big question.
See, the premise of Convergence is similar to most Pan-fandom nexus games, only with instead of the typical wasteland, post-apocalyptic hell all of them seem to trend, you have characters being dropped on a very fertile and green world for hundreds of years. This RP mostly designed toward slice of life with a side of every other genre. Players can port in any characters, both OCs and fandom. If you don't want to port in anyone, you can app a Fandom character straight there. Not sure about making an OC from Convergence itself, but it'll likely be a yes.
Anyway, I hit a snag. I've been trying to great a great multitude of City-states that have formed over the generations and landmarks. Unfortunately, I actually don't know many fandoms and have kinda run dry.
Kinda like suggestions on what you would like to see.

Yeeaahh, that's where I hit the bottom of the barrel. Any and all suggestions on what Fandoms you would like to see would be great. The policy I have with suggestions is that you have to make a choice, People or places. You can actually have a structure or location show up, but no people that had resided there would come with it OR you can choose to have that Fandom's people be there and either be represented in some how, like a city-state.
Anyway, please give me suggestions guys :( |

| Dark Heresy: Player needs post |

Well, sorry for the long wait. I've been kinda lazy and Daisychain has been kinda been keeping my attention! |D
Anyway! I have concepts for a campaign for you guys, but I'd like to know what you guys are going to play. So I give you the only two books you'll ever need to play Dark Heresy! The main Rulebook is actually pretty helpful in how to build a character, giving you nice step-by-step process to build the character you desire. My suggestion is to give the book a quick skim before you go deciding on what you'd like to play. There's plenty of fluff inside the rulebook, but if there any questions, I'll be more than happy to answer them.

| TT RP Take III |

Alright, so!
For those of you who don't know, my mood to GM a Role playing Game is back again. It's pretty awesome though that this mood happened to come up just when others were actually looking for a game! Anyway, originally I had 5-6 ideas/settings for you guys to decide upon, but after further thought, I really wanna try something different and Science fiction-ish. So, that leaves with really two choices!
Dark Heresy or Star Wars?
I already explained the setting of Dark Heresy. It's a very grim Science fiction/Horror/Fantasy universe, filled with a Galaxy conquered by Mankind, but threats both from outside the stretches of the Imperium and infecting within, Humanity is on the brink of destruction. The flames of war burn in hundred of worlds with billions of human defenders holding back the night at any cost. However, even with the might of Imperium fending off Alien invaders and the faith of Man is strong, in the dark recesses of every world hides pockets of heresy and evil, tempting innocent worlds into forbidden and sadistic pleasures. Literal daemons are ready to break out anywhere they can and their cultists sneak amongst the populace to give their masters a door.
You and your companions will be part of a organization who's mandate is to root out those that wish to bring the end of Mankind. You were personally chosen and pulled from your world to fulfill the objectives and divine judgment the Inquisition commands and to hold back the night for at least until tomorrow.
As for Star Wars, Ah. I've been feeling pretty nostalgic for that setting. Though I have to admit, I'm not all that confident with popular established settings. You all know what Star wars is like, filled with epic sagas, struggles of Good and Evil, countless shipbattles and drudging through local cantinas. If you choose this setting, I have ideas where to set it. It's either going to take place inbetween Episode III and IV (Also known as The Dark Times) or be in the Knights of the Old Republic Setting, which is 4000 years before New Hope.
There's still a lot of fun to be had and both settings will provide a good share of Combat, epic adventures and A lot of character development.
